A Productive Weekend

Friday I got off of work 2 hours early, so I took advantage of that and did my laundry at the laundry mat.  Then I came home and took a short nap before going down to Grammie and Pa's for 2 hours.  At six, I met a friend for dinner and we hung out til 10.
Saturday, I had a quiet morning and then I met Maritza at 1 to get fabric for her quilt.  She picked out gorgeous fabric and I can't wait to start working with it.  After the fabric shop, we went to Old Navy and I got green flip flops to wear to Audie's graduation.  I took Maritza back to Spencer's and then I came home.  I made a double batch of Lemon Poppy Seed muffins and they are delicious.  I sent an email to a friend.  Then I updated my resume and got it reposted for the district.
This morning, I went to the grocery store before church and came home to take a short nap.  I filled out my taxes and submitted them and then I swept the entry and bathroom floor.  Jack and Michelle came to pick me up and we headed down to historical museum only to find out they are closed on Sundays from October to April.  What a bummer.  We went downtown to Ben and Jerry's and got some ice cream and then we head to Kohl's to look for a pillow for Jack and shoes for Michelle.  Michelle desperately tried to get me to find a top to wear to Audie's graduation, but I haven't found one that I love. They brought me home and I read for a little bit.  Audie called and I got to talk to him which was fun.  I watched some TV, and then washed my drip pans.  I just finished a fleece quilt to give to someone who is struggling.
All in all, I have to say that this weekend was very busy, but a lot got done. I hope your weekend was restful and productive.
